ADHD can affect attention, energy, and impulse control. Many people struggle to stay focused, manage tasks, or regulate their reactions, especially in environments that require sustained attention.
These challenges can lead to frustration, low confidence, and difficulty keeping up with responsibilities at school, work, or home.
Our therapists focus on helping you understand how ADHD shows up in your life while building skills that support better structure, consistency, and regulation. This often includes looking at factors like sleep, stress, routines, and daily habits that can influence how you feel and function.

Can specialized counseling for ADD / ADHD really help?
If the challenges identified above sound like you, or anyone you know, and are keeping you or yours from experiencing success and functioning at an optimal level in your life, counseling may be helpful. Our providers in Soldotna are going to work with and for you to understand and treat not only the symptoms you’re experiencing, but what might be underlying them. Factors like sleep, diet, supplementation, lack of movement, and too much technology time can all exacerbate ADHD symptoms. In addition, there is significant overlap between ADHD symptoms and other possible diagnosis. For example, experiences of trauma, or being chronically under-slept, can both manifest similarly to ADHD symptoms. You can always trust that you and your provider will work together to get to the bottom of the challenges you’re facing.
